History Of The Camp Nou

Barcelona is a great club that I know the club do not have a sponsor and would only work with the charity's most basic thing why am I so idolized this club.
I tried to dig up my mind about the history of the club barcelona course begins with a mega stadium named Camp Nou stadium barcelona's pride.

before
after

You can tell a lot about the success or the decadence of the types of health club facilities it uses. In the case of FC Barcelona, the club's history can be clearly divided into three main stages. In the early days, the club continues to switch between different reasons. In the second stage, the club was consolidated with finding a permanent home at Les Corts. And the third stage, and the construction of Camp Nou, reflecting the expansion and grandeur of the club on a global scale.

The old Les Corts ground, inaugurated in 1922, renovated several times to find space for the ever-growing fan base Barca's. After the Spanish Civil War, the club began to attract more and more members every year, which also means a much larger number of spectators at matches. This increased support was the inspiration for several expansion projects, from the south goal (1946), the northern destination (1950), and the capacity of the race's (1944). But it becomes blatantly obvious that what the club really need to do is build a completely new stadium, and therefore these improvements combined board for Les Corts with plans to make the dream of a new stadium a reality.

The need for new stadiumFrom 1948, people are more and more interested in the idea of building an entirely new foundation, but this is not an easy thing to do, and it is necessary to convince local authorities that the new stadium will be matched with a plan to develop the area at top of Diagonal.

It is often said that what the board was convinced that there is no other option than building a new runway coming now legendary Ladislau Kubala, one of the best players ever to appear for FC Barcelona. And although no one doubts that Kubala attracted more interest than ever in the team and the mean spirit of the club hit a new high, the decision to build was inspired as much by winning two league titles in 1947-48 and 1948-49, the prior of Hungary have signed to club.In fact, the first solid step toward a new stadium coming in September 1950, fifteen days before playing his first match Kubala friendly Barca wearing a new color. That's when then-President Agusti Montal y Galobart, signed an option to purchase a site in an area known as La Maternidad, an option that should be taken only two months later.

What followed was a turbulent period, the commission decided the Nou Camp on February 9, 1951 to change the location of the future stadium to the area on the top of the Diagonal, and this led to a series of sterile negotiations with the authorities did not seem to be getting anywhere. That seems to have been saved for good when Francesc Miró-Sans FC Barcelona won the presidential election on 14 November 1953. The new president is a strong supporter of the idea of building a new stadium as soon as possible and one of the first things he did after coming to office on February 18, 1954 is to look at the future stadium site purchased in 1950, rather than at the end of the Diagonal. And so, on March 28, before a crowd of 60,000 fans Barca, the first stone of the Nou Camp was laid in the future under the leadership of Felipe Acedo Colunga civil governor and with the blessing of the Archbishop of Barcelona, Gregorio Modrego.Development (1954-1957)The new stadium architects Francesc Mitjans Miró, Miró-Sans cousin, and Josep Soteras Mauri, with the collaboration of Lorenzo García Barbon. More than a year later, on July 11, 1955, the club commissioned the construction work for the company's SA Ingar, a project estimated at 66.62 million pesetas, claims it will take 18 months to complete. However, the stadium will ultimately cost a lot more than initial estimates, eventually numbering about 288 million pesetas, an amount that will need to be covered by the successive issues of mortgage obligations ((100 million pesetas) and short-term bonds (60 million pesetas). Size This means that the stadium could be financed, but will leave the club in heavy debt for years after.

InaugurationThe date on which the stadium was to be inaugurated September 24, 1957. Organized a special commission whose task was to set the type of ceremony that opened the opportunity justified, with two people in charge of the operation: Aleix Buxeres (public relations) and Nicolau Casaus (organization). In the Salon de las Crónicas Barcelona City Council, on Saturday, September 21, José María de Cossío, members of the Real Academia Española, solemnly declared the celebration of the inauguration of the new stadium opens. That same weekend of September, a series of international matches played in the Les Corts and the Palacio Municipal de Deportes involving different team sports club. The days will go down in club history, and the set of words by the great poet Josep M. de Sagarra in a sonnet titled 'Azul Grana', while songs written in honor of the new stadium FC Barcelona, with Josep Badia putting the words of Adolf Cabane's music.

On the day of Merce Festival 1957, the city is decorated with the colors of FC Barcelona. The celebration continued with the holding of solemn mass and the blessing of the stadium by the Archbishop of Barcelona, Gregorio Modrego. Graciense Orfeón choir then performed Handel's 'Hallelujah' while the image of the Virgin of Montserrat is elevated. President of the box was packed with the most significant figures from sports and politics of the world, including club president Francesc Miró-Sans; José Solís Ruiz, general secretary of the Movement, which is equivalent to the sports ministry at the time; José Antonio Elola Olaso, Head of Delegation National Sport: Felipe Acedo, civil governor of Barcelona, and Josep M. de Porcioles, Mayor of Barcelona.

Although the work on the stadium was not full, more than 90,000 spectators to witness the event, followed by representatives of all major football clubs in Catalonia exhibiting in the field, as well as other team members and supporters of the club sports club. The new stadium Anthem was then performed and the first game played at the Nou Camp kicked off at half past four in the afternoon. FC Barcelona played a friendly against Polish side of Warsaw. Barca line-up the first ever performed in the Nou Camp features: Ramallets, Olivella, Brugué, Segarra, Verges, Gensana, Basora, Villaverde, Martínez, Kubala and Tejada. A different eleven took the field in the second round: Ramallets, Segarra, Brugué, Gracia, Flotados, Bosch, Hermes, Ribelles, Tejada, Sampedro and Evaristo. Barca won the match 4-2 with goals from Eulogio Martínez (11 minute strike was the first goal at Camp Nou), Tejada, Sampedro and Evaristo. At the half, 1,500 members of the Cultural Agrupación sardana Folclórica de Barcelona danced great and liberating 10 000 pigeons. And so that a new period in the history of FC Barcelona has begun.
